Leaving in a rental car

I shot a music video this weekend. You know you hang out with good people when your friends not only enthusiastically agree to partake in you vision (even if it entails dance routines in public...in skimpy costumes... in the freezing cold) but then talk about how we should all do that more often. Special thanks to Ron Milan, Lung, Punk Ass, Kelldogg, Cerndogg, and Johnny for their enthusiasm. This is going to be a good one.

Tomorrow, I'm embarking on a renegade VJ/rockumentarian/promosexual spree to Austin for sxsw. Last night, after shooting and costume designing all day, I decided to burn 25 DVDs of my reel. None of them have sound. Stupid iDVD.

I feel like giving them out anyway and telling people it's conceptual. I've discovered if you're a weirdo enough of your life, people think you do everything as a statement. Like a few years ago when I fucked up my knee in a freak dance floor accident, I had to wear an orthapedic brace out and about. At least 5 people complimented me on it, assuming it was a fashion thing.

I'm bringing crippled back.
