Updiggity Date!!

I realize these posts are getting few and far between, but thats only a sign of my hustling and bustling and blowing down the adversity faced by your friendly neighborhood self-employed videophile.

1. The Antibalas show last Friday was awesome. Those boys are sweet as pie and talented as fuck. Even if you don't think you're a fan of afro-beat, if you're a fan of music do yourself a favor and check 'em out.

2. I found out this video I did 4 years ago for the Negatones is playing on Much Music in Canada! Hosers love me!


3. Just finished a killer treatment for the David Lowery (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven) produced Wormburner track "Skinny Leather Tie". I'm going to need a crowd of thesbo's so stay tuned for the shooting date. And the song is catchy as hell...

4. I VJing for Alana Amram & The Rough Gems at Glasslands next thursday, January 31st. Alana is amazing and I'm not the only one who thinks so.

5. 2 Skinnee Js east coast tour this summer!!! I'm currently working on a trailer for the tentatively titled "2 Skinnee J East Coast world Tour 2008", which I'll post soon. But I am pumped. Last time, they bought me along for shits and giggles and I wound up with a set of broken toes and getting spanked onstage in a monkey suit in front of 1500 people at the 9:30 Club in DC. This time they're hiring me to do a balls out, over the top video show. I can't wait.


6. Last night I hung out with DEVO's buddy Ray who told me after almost 3 years, the boys STILL talk about the chick in the monkey suit! For those just joining in...

7. YouTube Tuesdays are gaining a good momentum. After only 3 weeks we already have a number of regulars. And new faces every week who jump in. My only wish is that the ladies need to represent. (i know - I'm the only girl I know who complains about being surrounded by 30 dudes. I'm just not one for the sausage fest.) Come on down - every Tuesday at 10, Cyn Lounge.

So much other stuff going on, but i have to get crackin on it instead of blogging about it. Life is awesome.
