The return of VAG on the TURNTABLES!!!
ok, just a side note before i get into the big news.
I started the master cleanse on Sunday. Its my third. Usually, I'm exhausted the first few days. But Monday I went out dancing for Bastille Day. Yesterday I was working on my VJ catalog till I had to go to Union Pool and set up for the show. Then rocked the show. then danced/hula hooped my ass off. Today I've been running errands and been super productive preparing for a last minute DJ/VJ gig tomorrow night, (more on that at 11 and by 11 I mean below) and have wayyyy too much energy NOT to go to the gym right now. My point is the fast gets easier each time you do it, and although I'm gonna stop at 10 this time (I promised sibi I'd REtox for her bday) I feel like i can go to 20 or 30. anyhoooo....
It's time to party like it's 2005!

Sheri Barclay & B.A Miale aka Vag On The Turntables are reuniting for the first time in over three years to bring you “The Vagical Mystery Tour” this Thursday at Savalas.
In the early part on the century, Vag on the Turntables were a staple in the Brooklyn party scene. They set themselves apart from typical Djs with their eclectic mix from the past 50 years, synchronized dance moves, matching outfits, interactions with the crowd, side video projects and general goofball attitudes.
After a massive (and public) falling out in 2005 they went their separate ways. Barclay moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she became a local celebrity with her own radio show “The Barclay Hour” on CJSR. It was eventually picked up by Viva radio and transmitted in American Apparels across the US-- which lead to a special edition Sheri Barclay t-shirt featuring an image of the DJ herself.
While taking the occasional DJ gig (like opening up for DEVO in a gorilla suit at the Hammerstein Ballroom) B.A mainly took the visual route, directing award winning music videos, touring with bands providing backdrop projections and becoming the first (and only so far) video artist to utilize a keytar to trigger her projections.
Over the years the two girls secretly kept tabs on each other, admiring each other’s accomplishments from afar. Eventually bad feelings become secondary to the void of creative camaraderie felt by both parties. Barclay moved back to Brooklyn and without even actually communicating with each other at first, a reunion was in the works.
Fast forward to 2008.
Two girls.
Too much ego for one medium.
Barclay and B.A aka “Vag on the Turntables” are back to bring you a feast for the ears and eyes - “The Vagical Mystery Tour” – part AV dance party, part variety show that utilizes both girls skill sets. Dance to the greatest hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today while getting lost in psychedelic keytar-triggered projections.
Savalas is located at 285 Bedford Ave (@ s1st st), Williamsburg, Party starts at 10.
