Coney Island Bunny

yesterday at a BBQ, a friend told me "my god B.A, you're so tan." "It starts" I responded as Lola started singing the oompa loompa song.

I love the beach. I grew up going 4-5 days a week during Long Island summers. I've already gone a handful of times this year. I was supposed to go today, but my back is still a bit burnt from friday.

Here's something I put together from the friday before Memorial day. Me and my friend jumped on the B train straight from work. it was like the best day ever. Total calm before the storm.



I think my friend was one of the last people to set foot in Ruby's bathroom, before it became a literal poop shoot..

This past Friday, I went with Lola the salad queen,(best beach buddy ever, btw - you gots to see the cooler she packs!) james, and the infamous Bunny to Brighton & Coney. Bunny's moving to Portland, Oregon on Friday and we were determined to give her an amazing new york experience in the happiest place on earth.

Here are some of my favorite shots.


I gave her those glasses as a departing gift. The bandana is all her.


Bunny asked me to bury her in the sand. Then she asked me over and over if she could bury ME in the sand. After about the 50th time, I said "Yes, only because you're moving."
