What i did on my holiday...

Here's the first of many shots i plan to post from the Bogmen show at Nokia Theater.

This was the most I've ever worked on a VJ gig and it only had a little to do with the fact I lost my entire VJ catalog 2 weeks before. I'm talking 25 song set - working 20 hour days, and I even put in 5-7 hours on both xmas eve & day among family hootenanny.

But in the end it was more than worth it. Everything is just easier when you're surrounded by good people and thats the whole bog cast and crew. Even when i had to come up with 4 songs from scratch the day of- AT the venue- I barely broke a sweat, mainly because it's such an inspiring environment. And creating just comes naturally when you're immersed in that vibe.

The show was nothing short of amazing.

I'm hoping Cass will post some of the video him and Paul shot soon. In the meantime, here's some cool shots from flicker

even more here...

Now just a quick end of the year round up. Actually, not even a round up because I should be sleeping. What it comes down to is just a big thank you to everyone who has supported my ass this year. Those who've come to shows. Given me a keytar. Built me a website. Sat down to plan out a daily self-employment itinerary. Passed on my videos. Gone above and beyond the call of getting my shit out there. Worked hours and hours covered in glue and paper mache for FREE to help me realize a vision. Made nice in front of the camera for me. Convinced me I'm not meant to be sitting in an office all day (even though they were the ones paying me to do so!). Those who nurtured my ego - you wouldn't believe how therapeutic it is to hear that people believe in you especially during the overworked and downtrodden days when your doubting yourself. Those who put Vic & Me up in different cities. And those who've come to shows.

I have nothing but good feelings about 2008. And even better feelings about the folks I surround myself with.

Happy New Year.
