Last night I saw...

MIke Nesmith

Bob Dylan

The Mummies

The Flying Burrito Brothers

Steppenwolf

Teen Wolf

Nirvana

The Replacements

T.REX

Cream

Johnny Thunders
(and me trying to put my arm around a memory.)

The Flamin' Groovies

Alice Cooper

and the motherfuckin RAMONES (or the reason my legs look like Christina Crawford's)

I also saw Dead Moon but I was too busy trying to solve the mystery of the asshole who fucked with the speakers.

Anyway, aside from that, what a great party. Probably the best that broooklyn has to offer on halloween night. The enthusiatic mayhem in the crowd was like the actual bands were playing. I love the way halloween brings that out in people. And the rock.

We ended up dancing around rock star bar till they kicked us out around 5am.

Thank you Alanna and Tommy for another amazing night!

Days like this, I love technology

Think about it. We live in a time where you can type your name into google blog search and let the ego trip begin. I found this random review of a show we did in Nashville that is more than i could ever put into words of what we're trying to do.

I can't wait to start playing again. Vic is writing his book for the next few months, so we're on hiatus. BUt 2008 will be great. To quote the Hopewell tune I play 2000x a day:

"Things are getting better. I just know they're getting better..."

This isn't obsessive-compulsive behavior--it's the track of the video I'm working on. That's not to say that I haven't listened to some tracks obsessive-compulsively for three days+ straight. Here's one of them, which fits nicely into today's holiday festivities. Or Easter.

Happy Halloween!
Boo Motherfucker!

I got kicked in the face by a crowd-surfing wolfman

No, that's not a cramps song, it happened for real last year at this party during the "Misfits". And it was awesome.

I'm DJing this year. And then some. You should come.

On a sidenote, my friend called me a cerebral costumer the other day, when i was discussing my options for this year. When i first sported 2007's costume on saturday, I realized something:
When I don't make up my own characters, I enjoy dressing as things the masses generally don't get-- yet a selected few not only get, but get really excited about. Then I get really excited.

That said, i'm very excited about sporting this year's ensemble in the company of a slew of 'dem rocka types.

here's the party info...

Trust me. There is no show like this on the planet. Period. The last time we threw this very same party, over 450 people showed up to sell the place out (and that was with hardly any promotion!!). Now, we've put even MORE energy into it and its looking like its gonna be another insane night! Frankly, I'm kinda scared - and not in that "halloween" sort-of way, either...

Plus, we've also got:

**Hilarious Costume Contests!
**Special Guest Hosts!
**Booze Booze Booze!
**Wild Decorations
**Killer DJ sets (feat. Ms. BAM.i.AM)!
**Surprise Performances!
**Only $1.00 Admission!

That's right. Only ONE freaking dollar to get in. Retarded!!
