Things are getting better...
Thanks to everyone who came out last night to the premiere party, and Alana for hosting.
I lost my phone. That's always a sign of a good time.
A Big ASS Thanks to everyone who was a part of this video.
Masha Gvozdov for her wonderful big heads and studio space and make-up
Natasha Samoylenko for her trees so awesome, one has become part of my apartment decor.
My little bro, Anthony Miale for his camera work and greenscreenery
Emily Roberts for her skywriting animation
Tommy Rockstar for his mobile resources
Lauren Andrews & Smitty Smith for their printers
MC Aaron for the tripod
Danny Dynamic & Naz for being awesome helper monkeys (what's a PA?)
And of course the talent. The Hopewell Guys and Sara Champagne.
And Masha again who filled in for one of the guys. Guess which one!
And now the video...
Hopewell - Echo & His Brother

And on a final note, while working on this video, I reread "Please Kill Me". This was always my favorite part of the book because it's kind of my own mantra in everything I do. And it's pretty much the concept of the video:
"This wonderful vital force that was articulated by the music was really about corrupting every form-- it was about advocating kids not to wait to be told what to do, but make life up for themselves, it was about trying to get people to use their imaginations again, it was about not being perfect, it was about saying it was okay to be amateurish and and funny, that real creativity came out of making a mess, it was about working what you got in front of you and turning everything embarrassing, awful and stupid in your life to your advantage."
